REV JAMES T JEFFERSON SR

Rev. Jefferson accepted the call to preach at the age of nineteen (19). He has served in the preaching and teaching ministries of the church for the past several decades. He has earned four (4) degrees including a Doctorate in Ministry, along with other certificates of achievement from major institutions. He has preached all over the United States in many of the major church denominations. He organized a local congregation and served as its pastor forty-seven (47) years before stepping aside in favor of his son, James T. Jefferson, Jr. who was unanimously accepted by the congregation. Rev. Jefferson now devotes his time and skills to teaching and writing.

Dr. Norrington currently serves as the Coordinator of Technology for the Center of Career Engagement, Experiential Learning and Technology at Harris-Stowe State University. She has served as an Adjunct Instructor and in addition to technology; Dr. Norrington also serves as the Campus Advisor for the Universities Campus Ministries. Working to serve the students holistically, Dr. Norrington has worked with outside organizations to help build servant student leaders on campus and strengthen the foundation that was set before her. She also serves on the board for the Missouri Music and Ministry Workshop. Dr. Norrington has served in various capacities within the church helping to strengthen and nourish spiritual programs, program development, music, drama and technology.

Serving in ministry alongside Bishop James Heard, her husband of 30 plus years, she oversees the affairs of New Destiny Ministries performing all tasks in the spirit of excellence. In 2012 she was awarded the Administrator of the Year Award from Midwest College of Theology. She has been employed as a marketing support rep with Ameren Missouri for over 33 years. She affectionately displays her love for her husband, children and grandchildren.
DR BETTY BOYD

Dr. Betty Boyd is a 43-year medical technologist in the Tenet Health System. Dr. Boyd has served in ministry over 30 years while completing her Doctorate degree from Midwest College of Theology in 2013. Dr. Boyd has been a theological educator for the last 15 years under the leadership of Bishop James Heard. Her interests include hanging with family and friends also plays a big role in the ministry. Dr. Boyd is currently widowed, a mother of three adult children, a grandmother to six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She truly has a heart for people whether a family member or a complete stranger; she will find a way to minister to them. Dr. Boyd is a true advocate for Christ in all her endeavors. She goes over and beyond in everything that she puts her mind to. Dr. Boyd, along with her husband, has raised over one dozen foster children in the past 35 years which led to the adoption of three. She has been nominated for several awards and presented with such and strong out pour of support.
DR JACQUES ANTHONY HUGHES SR

Dr. Jacques Anthony Hughes, Sr. received his Associate of Arts Degree in Radio Broadcasting/Production/Sales from the Broadcast Center/Maryville University. Pastor Hughes attended Full Council Christian Fellowship Bible College completing a two-year program in 9 months. He continued his education at Fontbonne University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Entertainment Management and a Masters Degree in Management. His Doctor of Theology is in Biblical Studies from Midwest College of Theology. Dr. Hughes has served in ministry for over 25 years.
Dr. Hughes is the Co-founder of Evangelist Word Ministries of St. Louis.
DR INEZ CUNNINGHAM HUGHES

Dr. Inez Cunningham Hughes has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fontbonne College in Communications Disorders / Speech and Language Pathology with a minor in Psychology. Her Masters Degree is from the University of Missouri in Special Education Mild to Moderate Cross Category. In 2011 she received her Doctor of Theology Degree in Biblical Studies from Midwest College of Theology. She is married to Dr. Jacques A. Hughes and they are the proud parents of four children and four grandchildren.
